May Kaidee is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Bangkok. Located in Old City, this restaurant is a favorite of backpackers from all over the world. You get a large selection of classic Thai dishes at great prices. The atmosphere is cheerful and the guesthouse and restaurant offers everything from amazingly complex curries and soups to simple vegetarian fried rice.

Don’t find the dishevelled alley sway you from visiting May Kaidee! Menu items start at 80 baht each, but you might have to order rice if it doesn’t come with your meal, so add another 30 baht. Find May Kaidee on the Ground Floor, Thai Cozy House, Tanao Road.

2. May Veggie Home (Klongtoei, Bangkok)

In Asok you’ll find a vegetarian restaurant that cherishes the value of home-cooked meals. May Veggie Home also offers vegan ice cream, vegan baked goods, and other vegan products for sale. Clientele here tends to be international, and they enjoy the Thai and pan-Asian menu that features a bunch of different mushroom dishes you can try.

You will eat for around 150 baht for your main dish. May Veggie Home is only a minute’s walk from Asock BTS Skytrain Station if you walk towards Benjakitti Park. Find it at 8/3 Sukhumvit Soi 16, Asok Junction.

Dishes here are reasonably priced between 50 and 150 baht. Find House of Joy at 135/8-9 Pan Road.

6. Bonita Cafe and Social Club (Silom, Bangkok)

The Bonita Cafe and Social Club can boast that it specializes in vegan and raw dishes. Visitors come here to try things like dairy-free chocolate mousse, carrot cake, pastas, pizzas, Asian-fusion dishes, and fruit shakes. Bonita Cafe and Social Club is run by a Japanese-Thai couple who are the cutest couple ever.

There are even a couple of cats you can visit with while you wait for your food. While the menu isn’t huge, you will find gluten-free items, and raw food options. You can expect to pay between 150 and 200 baht for your meal. You will find Bonita Cafe and Social Club at 56/3 Pan Road, Silom.

7. Ethos (Banglumpoo, Bangkok)

After a long day walking around to see what Bangkok has to offer, check out Ethos just off Khao San Road. You’ll love the peaceful atmosphere at Ethos, and the huge cushions don’t hurt, either! This is another reasonably priced location where you can enjoy Western, Thai, Eastern, and Indian vegetarian dishes like veggie burgers, falafels, curries, and lasagna starting at 100 baht.

Be sure not to miss out on their amazingly huge homemade milk shakes! Another feature of Ethos is their collection of different kombucha you can try. Everything here is made fresh on-site, and you can eat there or take it away with you. Find Ethos at 85/2 Thanon Tanao.
